Early to flower with very large flowers on 8 to 10-inch plants.
Improved for doubleness on their first flower. Their garden performance
is unsurpassed. A well balanced bright blend of colors. Ideal for borders or containers. Half hardy annual. Height 20-25cm (8-10in)
Sow Late winter - early spring under glass in gentle heat. Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost.
Sow seeds thinly over
the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place
in warmth 15-20C (60-70F), and keep moist.
Keep seedlings in a light position, but
shade from bright sun.
When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm
(2in) apart into trays of potting compost or individually into 7cm
(3in) pots.
Harden
off for 2-3 weeks before planting out. Plant out when all danger of a
late spring frost has passed, spacing 25cm / 10in apart.
Can be sown direct
outdoors in Spring for flowers Early summer to Autumn.
