Green leaved sage - Hardy perennial height - 60cm (2ft)
The
large grey -green leaves of this shrubby plant are widely used for
stuffings and seasonings , and are commonly used to flavour sausages
.The Large flower spikes produced on established plants are an
additional attractive feature.
Harvest - young
shoots can be picked as required at any time of the year .Sage is easy
to dry - cut in late June and tie into small bundles before hanging
upside down in an airy place until dry .
